The Future is Here
Augmented Reality- live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are merged with (or augmented by) virtual computer-generated imagery – creating a mixed reality. After reading that definition, you would think this technology would only be found in science fiction novels or 50 years in the future. However, in actuality this technology is here today. Apple’s iPhone 3Gs has already utilized this technology but that’s merely the tip of the iceberg of the endless possibilities and potential AR has in store for the future.
