Feeling Just Ducky

Three.

According to Mr. Owl, that’s how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop.

But how many rubber duckies does it take to make a mile? That’s the question we asked ourselves for client Cozi.com.

Cozi.com makes life easier for busy families by helping organize and manage day-to-day activities from grocery lists to dinner ideas and the family calendar. So when they came to us for an over-the-top idea on how to promote their website’s free services, we got quackin’ (sorry) on some ideas.

Their mantra, “Get your ducks in a row”, led us to a killer idea: Set the Guinness World Record for the longest line of rubber duckies.

17,872 ducks later, Guinness Records Adjudicator Kimberly Partrick made it official. The mile-long row was a Guinness World Record. The event, held at Maguson Park in Seattle, WA was a big success and earned Cozi.com impressive press coverage, including NBC’s Today show.
