Mayor Anthony Foxx Visits Tattoo Projects

Last week, Charlotte advertising agency, Tattoo Projects, had the honor of hosting Charlotte’s Mayor Anthony Foxx for a visit and discussion on ways to enhance small business in the local community.

Mr. Mayor received the full Tattoo Projects treatment, complete with a tour of our office and chance to sit down with our team and converse in our lounge. During our chat, Executive Creative Directors Rudy Banny and Buffy McCoy Kelly shared their story of our company and discussed how Charlotte was an ideal location to house our small advertising agency.

No mayoral visit would have been complete without a live Ustream and Twitter chat running, so of course we had both.

Mayor Foxx shared several ideas on ways he is looking to help establish and grow small business in Charlotte. In particular, Mayor Foxx mentioned that part of his plans for Charlotte include creating better connections between the financial institutions and local companies to give small businesses easier access to the funding they may need to grow. He also mentioned that he is working on installing more creative initiatives designed to allow the current and future creative minds of Charlotte to thrive. We are certainly on board with that.
