McDonalds has the answer. What better way than to sunbathe under a McDonalds drink umbrella. These “umbrellas” are oversized McDonalds lids and straws. This new McDonalds campaign can be seen on the beaches in Toronto, Canada.

We all know everyone has their favorite Christmas Ads, whether its a Coke ad, or a badass Harley Davidson Christmas commercial. Creativity Online highlights the top 5 advertisements of the past week. This week’s top 5 are quite interesting, especially the Allan Gray’s Investments James Dean commercial. The Ad was created by the King James Group and it entertains the idea of what if James Dean’s untimely death never took place.

Creativity Has to be a CMO’s Core Competency, by Harley-Davidson’s Mark-Hans Richer, extols the virtues of creative thinkers on the client side. He says, “….creativity as a weapon of business is underleveraged not for lack of ideas, but for lack of courage to use them or refusal to give up on them. Great ideas can be strangled in the crib by CMOs too focused on near-term issues or distractions less important to the long-term results of the business. “We don’t have time for creativity” is not something you would ever hear in the most successful businesses.” It’s a must-read article – -see it here, in Ad Age.

Dale Earnhardt, Inc. has selected Tattoo as their creative marketing partner!
First project: a national awareness campaign for The Dale Earnhardt Foundation. The campaign will consist of television, print, interactive, and out-of-home advertising components. The Foundation awards charitable grants that sustain Dale’s lifelong commitment to education, children, and environment/wildlife preservation.
Dale Earnhardt Inc., based in Mooresville, N.C., employs more than 350 people at its two state-of-the-art campuses. Dale Earnhardt Inc. is comprised of four Sprint Cup teams featuring drivers, Paul Menard, Martin Truex Jr., Regan Smith, Mark Martin and Aric Almirola. The organization has amassed more than 100 wins, and has won six NASCAR Championships as well as three Daytona 500s. In addition, Earnhardt-Childress Racing Technologies, a joint engine venture between Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Richard Childress Racing, has 147 employees.
