First Reliance Bank Relies on Tattoo

Tattoo begins creative duties for First Reliance Bank today, with the first campaign slated to break at the end of October. First Reliance Bank, founded in 1999, is ranked in the top 20 banks in South Carolina based on asset size. The bank has assets of approximately $585 million, and employs over 145 associates. The bank serves the Upstate, Midlands, Piedmont, Low Country, Grand Strand, and Pee Dee regions of South Carolina. The bank has been recognized for its success including being named to the Dave Thomas Foundation’s List of “Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces” and the only company ever to be named to The Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies™ in South Carolina four times including 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006 (SC Chamber/Elliott Davis). In 2006, 2007, and 2008, the bank was also recognized as One of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina by the SC Chamber of Commerce. In June 2007, the bank was added to the Palmetto 25, a list of S.C.’s largest publicly held companies.

Dale Earnhardt Inc. Taps Tattoo Projects

Dale Earnhardt, Inc. has selected Tattoo as their creative marketing partner!

First project: a national awareness campaign for The Dale Earnhardt Foundation. The campaign will consist of television, print, interactive, and out-of-home advertising components. The Foundation awards charitable grants that sustain Dale’s lifelong commitment to education, children, and environment/wildlife preservation.

Dale Earnhardt Inc., based in Mooresville, N.C., employs more than 350 people at its two state-of-the-art campuses. Dale Earnhardt Inc. is comprised of four Sprint Cup teams featuring drivers, Paul Menard, Martin Truex Jr., Regan Smith, Mark Martin and Aric Almirola. The organization has amassed more than 100 wins, and has won six NASCAR Championships as well as three Daytona 500s. In addition, Earnhardt-Childress Racing Technologies, a joint engine venture between Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Richard Childress Racing, has 147 employees.

Hungry Howie’s has enlisted yours truly to create branding TV for the 20-state pizza franchise. Hungry Howie’s is a major competitor in the pizza marketplace. Their claim to fame is a special trademarked flavored pizza crust. First up, pepperoni speaks out, “Flavored crust has nothing on me!”
