Tattoo’s Crew is back from LA after a successful week of production for a new Hoover TV spot. We are excited to share the final spot so be on the lookout in the near future.

This week Tattoo is in Los Angeles, California producing another awesome TV spot for Hoover. Accommodations are being provided by the Sunset Marquis hotel.

Over the past ten years, we have all seen numerous advertisements good and bad, innovative and uninspiring. One commercial in particular that we at Tattoo thought was one of the best of the decade was the Honda “Cog ad. The advert first launched in 2003 to promote Honda’s 7th generation Accords. Its interesting to know that during the production of the commercial, only limited amount of CGI was used. The mechanical sequence of the advert was put together precise positioning of the car parts.

Tis’ the holiday season here again and Tattoo would like to share with all of you a holiday commercial we produced for Sheetz. The commercial was illustrated by Tattoo very own Laith Bahrani. So, stop into your local Sheetz and get yourself a free coffee this Christmas and New Years Day!

We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving with friends and family.
One thing you probably didn’t see over the holiday was a ballsy ad from PETA. The ad was supposed to air on NBC during the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade but NBC nixed it due to not being up to “NBC Universal Standards”.
The primary focus of the ad was to highlight the unethical treatment of turkeys leading up to their most “illustrious” occasion.

Just finished shooting a top secret project– to be revealed in April. If you want to try to guess the client, here are some hints: a dirt track, champagne, and hard hats were involved in the shoot.

Hungry Howie’s has enlisted yours truly to create branding TV for the 20-state pizza franchise. Hungry Howie’s is a major competitor in the pizza marketplace. Their claim to fame is a special trademarked flavored pizza crust. First up, pepperoni speaks out, “Flavored crust has nothing on me!”

P. Diddy’s got a new TV ad out for his Sean Jean fragrance. Banned from air in the U.S. because it’s “too hot”, the ad has been cleared for take-off in the U.K. Combs stars in the ad and also produced and directed it, pretty much bypassing any need for an ad agency. Maybe that wasn’t the smartest decision he’s made. I’m thinking he should let the ad agencies do the advertising, and he should stick to the……..wait a minute, what exactly is it that he does, again?

With the imminent release of Halo 3, possibly the most anticipated game to ever hit the shelves, T.A.G / McCann Worldgroup chose Big Science Music to score an emotional and intense 4 minute video showcasing the creation of the “Believe” John 117 Monument Video.
